Artwork Installation at TCMS
Be sure to look up the next time you step into the lobby of Toombs County Middle School. Recently, five 36 in x 72 in canvases were hung over the front office windows to contribute to the inviting and welcoming atmosphere we want to create for our students and their families.

Toombs County Middle School art teacher, Julie Tyson, enlisted the help of three talented family members: daughters Holly and Karle McDonald and her niece Grace Pittman, to assist her in designing and painting the large canvases. Ms. Tyson said the design concept was based on school colors while using brick as a background like the façade of our school. The Bulldog bursting out of the bricks symbolizes our strength as a school. We want everyone to know we are the TCMS Bulldogs!

We are proud to have such a talented teacher on our staff, and thankful to have such beautiful, locally created artwork hanging in our building.
