This morning the TCMS family lost another dear friend and colleague.  Mrs. Melissa Boyett joined the TCMS faculty 3 years ago as a remedial reading teacher at TCMS but also worked at Lyons Primary as a Pre K teacher for several years.  We quickly learned what a valuable employee she was.  Her love for teaching and her ability to teach were beyond comparison.  She loved her students, and they loved her also.  Watching Mrs. Boyett continue to do her job on days when she was not feeling her best due to medical treatments served as a message to us all to never give up, push when life is hard, and love what you do.  Our prayers go out to her husband and sons, Alex and Noah.  She will be missed.

On September 14, 2020, the TCMS family lost a beloved friend and colleague.  Mrs. Sharon Horton was a loyal and treasured employee for 21 years.  Mrs. Horton’s job title was Secretary/Bookkeeper, but to be honest all that she did for us spanned much more than those job titles.  She was always quick to smile and laugh with us.  She comforted us when we were hurting.  She was the friend that everyone needed and loved.  Our prayers go out to her husband, Jeffery, her daughters TCMS teacher Chelsea Todd (Cory) and Jessica Williams (Casey), and granddaughters Caroline and Baylee.  TCMS was a better place because of Mrs. Horton.  We will miss her more than words can say.
