Toombs County Middle School -

The Summer Meal Program provides free meals to children and teens, 18 years old and younger when school is out for summer. The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and administered by state and local agencies. All children and teens are eligible to receive free meals through the Summer Meal Program, regardless of income or household size. There is no need to apply or register for the program. Meals are served at Toombs County High School on the following days & times: June 3-26 (Tues-Thurs) July 7-10 and July 21-30 (Mon-Thurs) Breakfast: 7:45am-8:15am Lunch: 11:45am-12:15pm

Summer Swim Team is here! See attached flyer for information! Additionally, you can contact the TCHS swim coach via email at Heather.Moore@toombs.k12.ga.us for information. Students do not have to be Vidalia students or residents to participate in the summer swim team.

This is a Toombs County Schools transportation update. Due to the recent heavy rainfall, our bus drivers and transportation team are reaching out to families who may be affected by road conditions. We’re identifying alternate pick-up and drop-off locations where needed to ensure students can get to and from school safely. Toombs County Schools are also working closely with the Toombs County Sheriff’s Office to monitor road updates and provide additional support if necessary. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we prioritize student safety.

TCMS treated our teachers to a refreshing Lemonade from Squeezy B's Lemonade today for Teacher Appreciation Week. It is so REFRESHING to have teachers like we have at TCMS. We LOVE and Appreciate our teaching staff! Thank you for all that you do!

TCMS is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week. Monday's theme was "Sip Sip Hooray! We appreciate you everyday". Teachers enjoyed filling their new coffee cups at the coffee bar with muffins provided by DOT Foods. Tuesday's theme was "You are Appreciated S'more than you know"! Teachers enjoyed a S'mores Bar with water and cookies provided by Meadows Park Health and Rehabilitation. We love and appreciate all of our Teachers!

Congratulations to TCMS 7th Grader, Sophie Ho. Sophie was the First District RESA first-place Young Georgia Authors' writing contest winner. Her submission will now represent the First RESA district in the state competition. We are proud of you, Sophie!
