Students in Mrs. Dowell, Ms. Akins, and Mrs. Turoski’s class used new knowledge of the formula Pi by completing fun activities like making their own pizzas, reading Sir Cumference and the Dragon of Pi, making Pi Day Amaographs, and finishing the day figuring out the circumference of a chocolate chip cookie!

The TCMS Beta Club put together personal care kits to be delivered to the Georgia Power Lineman that were housed at TCMS during the outages caused from Hurricane Helene. For several nights our gym was their homebase and we are thankful for all of their hard work in our community. #SetTheStandard #LeadbyServingOthers

This morning Mrs. Pierce led some of our 6th grade students in Break Break exercises before they began an important task. The science referencing brain breaks suggests that these exercises improve focus, reduce stress, and enhance overall cognitive function. Though not scientific the smiles and laughs had to have a positive impact as well! #setthestandard
