This tradition, started by Mrs. Allen and her sisters, Mrs. Graham and Mrs. Gordy, is one the students look forward to all year. Although all 3 are retired, they still come and help with these event. We are thankful to them, the families that celebrated with us and 5 of our 8th grade students, Lindy, Dorothy, Dax, Case, and Palmer who helped with crafts and activities with our students today. It was a great day!

This week in Career Discovery, our students are putting their problem-solving and planning skills to the test with a hands-on Thanksgiving budgeting challenge! With a reduced budget and a focus on cooking at least three dishes from scratch, students are learning how to balance financial decisions, research recipes, and create a delicious menu for their immediate families.
By learning financial literacy skills like budgeting now, students are preparing for a successful future where they can confidently manage money, make informed choices, and prioritize their needs. These essential life skills will help them navigate real-world situations, from planning meals to managing personal finances as adults. We’re so proud of their creativity and practical learning this week!
Governor Brian Kemp has proclaimed November 21, 2024 as Family Engagement Day in Georgia!

🎵 Band Directors Lead by Example 🎵
At Toombs County, our band directors not only guide students in their musical journey but also continue to inspire students through their own performances!
🎻 Mr. Noah Bullard, our high school band director, performed with the Georgia Southern String Camerata, showcasing his dedication to excellence in music.
🎺 Mrs. Ashley Akridge, our middle school band director, brings her passion for performance to the Brewton-Parker Wind Ensemble, demonstrating the joy of lifelong musicianship.
