Mrs. Dowell’s class had a wonderful time visiting Ushers Citrus Farms yesterday! Students learned all about citrus production in South Georgia and discovered how fresh fruit makes its way to our school. 🍋🍊

Mrs. Claudia and Mrs. Delanie’s class has been busy learning all about plants! Students explored the different parts of plants and discovered foods that come from them. They picked fresh peanuts, boiled them for a snack, learned how peanut butter is made, sequenced steps to create their own PB&J, and even wrapped up the week with peanut butter cookies. 🍪✨
What a fun and tasty way to see how food makes its journey from the farm to our tables! 🍴💡
